Willard Leroy "Bill" Burns age 80 of Westerville, Oh. passed away peacefully to be with the Lord, June 9, 2011. Bill was a U. S. Army Veteran; retired from U.S Postal Service; lifetime member of the NRA; 40 year member of the Apostolic Faith. Born June 10, 1930 in Columbus, OH. to the late Willard and Helen Collins Burns. Preceded in death by beloved grandmother, Ethel Burns; brother, George Burns; sisters, Barbara Miller & Denise. Survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Janet Burns; sons, Willard "Buck" Burns III of Newark, OH; Joseph Burns of Massillon, OH; Jack Burns of Crooksville, James Burns of Roseville, Ohio, Jay (Kim) Burns of Ashley, OH, Andrew Burns of Fredericktown, OH. and his children, Ben, Jennifer, Joey, and Jonathan; Scott "Dean" (Karen) Phillips of London, OH; 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; eldest granddaughter, Leah Allbright; sister, Lois (Otto) Zeman; brothers, William (Carolyn) and Gary (Barbara) Burns; special friend, Bishop Arden "Pop" Dennis; Numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Friends may call at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. NORTHWEST CHAPEL, Sunday 2 to 5 p.m. where funeral service will be held Monday 10:30 a.m. Rev.
