William "Bill" A. Bailey, age 71, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Mt. Carmel Hospital in Grove City, OH. Bill was born August 1, 1949 in Columbus, OH. He was an owner and operator of Sonny's Transport Co. When he wasn't working the job he loved, he enjoyed traveling and riding his motorcycle. He also loved spending time with his many friends and family. He was a wonderful husband and devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather. Preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Moore; sister, Fran Thompson; and sister-in-law, Charlotte Keirns. Bill is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mary K. Bailey; children, Raymond (Jennifer) Dennison II, Andrea Bailey, Shawn (Michele) Dennison, Tiffany (Ahmad) Alshaibani, William (Tracy) Bailey, and Casey (Misty) Dennison; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Patty Sartori, Henry (Ronda) Thompson, Jeannie (Terry) Littletton, and Joe (Sherry) May; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH, where funeral service will be Thursday, 11 a.m. Proper social distancing and masks are required for all that attend.
