William "Bill" Hanford Costlow, age 73, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 with his family.  Bill was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 20, 1953.  William served in US Army and Air National Guard.  He spent many years as a professional painter and in his free time enjoyed spending time with family and riding his motorcycle.  Preceded in death by parents, Hanford H. and Betheleen  (Patrick) Costlow; sister, Natalie Martin.   Bill is survived by his loving companion, Melodie Haynes; children, Shane (Marna) Costlow, Danielle (Jim) Smith and Harold Haynes III; grandchildren, Austin Costlow, Corbin Costlow, Chandler Smith, Caiden Smith, Cooper Smith. Meghan, Jamie, Haylee, Arielle (Hunter) and Micah; 5 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Wes Kantor; sister-in-law, Bev Kantor; several nieces and nephews; good friends, Don Leonard and Troy Hatfield.  Graveside services will be held at a later date at Galloway Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to www.ohiohospice.org Dayton Ohio region in Bill's memory.
