William "Bill" Fairchild, age 82, passed away Monday, January 2, 2012. Born October 29, 1929 in Inez, Kentucky to the late Fred and Pauline Maynard Fairchild. Retired from Ashland Oil Company. Survived by wife of 39 years, Rosemary "Rose"; son, Michael; daughter, Vickie (Lydale) Savage; stepdaughter, Sharon (Melvin) Morris; stepson, Kerry (Tina) Kirk; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brother, Kenton (Barbara) Fairchild; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-7 p.m. at the O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL 1346 S. High Street. The funeral service will be Thursday 11 a.m. at the Living Word Church 145 Obetz Rd. where friends may call 1 hour prior to the service. Pastor John Brainard officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery.
