William G. Morrison, age 75 of Obetz, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022. William was a Vietnam Veteran where he earned a purple heart and was involved in 8 different major military operations including Hastings, Double Eagle and Starlight. He was a life member of the VFW. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Granville and Betty Jane Morrison as well as his brother, Bob Morrison. William is survived by his children, Tony Morrison and Renee (Allen) Rose; brother, Ron Morrison; grandchildren, Beth and Clyde Graham, Sydney and Derek Seymour, Dillion and Jessica Horsfeld, T J Morrison and Ashleigh Locke and Dakot and Chris; 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME 587 Main Street in Groveport from 11 am until time of the funeral at 1 pm. Interment will follow in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens Canal Winchester.
