William "Bill" Lewis Tucker Jr., age 78, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Mt. Carmel Grove City Hospital. Bill was born November 25, 1946 in Athens, OH to the late William Sr. and Opal Tucker. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Bill retired with over 30 years of service in the International Brotherhood of Teamsters as a truck driver. Bill loved to travel, especially on cruise ships, spending time with his family, and cutting his grass. He is preceded in death by his parents, William L. Tucker Sr. and Opal Hamilton; wife of 28 years, Sandra Tucker; brother Robert Tucker; and sister Barbara Whitlatch. He is survived by his children, Jenny (Roger) Butler, Tammy (Rich) Newsome, Julie (Brian) Orsborn, Cindi Stevens, Lori (Randy) Smith, and Shelly Anderson; grandchildren, Michael, Andy, Connor, Cameron, Danielle, Bryan, Storm, Rebecka, Robert, Heather, and Brittani; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Patricia (Bill) Spink; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH. Interment will follow at Obetz, Cemetery, Obetz, OH.
