Obituary

William A. Witte, a Master Sergeant, Retired from the U.S. Air Force, is now at peace and reunited with his dear wife that he missed so much, Paula.

Bill was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 9,1938 to Edgar and Louise Witte.

While stationed in Tokyo Japan, he married his beloved wife Paula on April 30, 1958 at the United States Embassy. They shared 62 happy years together and he has longed to join her since her passing in 2020.

Bill spent his life serving his country as a member of the United States Air Force as a Flight Engineer and an Aircraft Mechanic in the 907th Tactical Airlift Wing; a chapter of his life he held with deep pride and honor. He was always ready to share a good story from his time in service, bringing laughter and wisdom to every conversation. A symbol of his dedication, he never left the house without his challenge coin in his pocket-a quiet reminder of the legacy he carried and the values he lived by. He was also very dedicated to American Legion Post 144, where he was a part of the Honor Guard.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Paula, first born son, William and by his sisters, Delores, Marlene, and Beverly. He is survived by his daughter Cindy Siddle, son Mark (Karri) Witte and granddaughter, Isabella, daughters-in-love, Carinne (Chris) Blackwell - Victoria and Ethan and Andrea (David) Christy - Dylan. Also, by his sister and only remaining sibling, Diane Townsend (Gary) of Cincinnati.
